This piece depicts my departure. At this moment in my life I would imagine myself experiencing death due to a car accident. Between driving to school, work, and friend’s houses, I feel that so much of my time is spent on the road. For the past about month I had been working really late hours at work, getting off many times early in the morning so exhaustion behind the wheel is always dangerous and I would see this as my death. Additionally, this death landscape captures a paranoia of cars for me. I often times feel very unsafe when driving with others, and the high mortality rates of drivers is always on my mind.It’s a real fear for me.
I wasn’t a big fan of this week’s activity, but I did enjoy toying with the idea of death.
